Down Syndrome Symposium
Overall, this project allowed me to learn more about a genetic disorder I was not initially very interested in or intrigued by. Doing extensive research was integral to this assignment, as my partners and I wanted to ensure the presentation of correct information about DS, including the causes of DS, overall physical and medical effects, treatment options, and ways to support people with DS. An overall improvement for the video that could have been implemented was equalizing the audio throughout the video, ensuring an engaging and quality experience for the viewers when watching. Working with a group made tasks like brainstorming, research, and video creation much easier.
